Yes. Our Oklahoma state approval number is: 2086.
Most students will have their credits processed the same day on which they complete their final exam. If a course is completed outside of our normal business hours, these credits will be processed on the morning of the next business day. Once your credits have been successfully filed, you will receive a notification email that also contains your Certificate of Completion.
Oklahoma insurance continuing education will require you to complete an Affidavit of Personal Responsibility as part of the exam process. *New!* The affidavit is now completed online as part of the final exam.
Self-study final exams are closed book. Licensees may not refer to the course material while the exam is in progress.
The final exam must be passed with a score of 70 percent or higher to receive credit. Students have unlimited attempts to pass the exam.
A roster fee of $1.00 per credit is required to process course credits in this state. This fee will be added to your order total during checkout and is then sent by us to the state upon completion.
No. You may spend as much time with the course material as you feel necessary, and you may come and go from that material as often as you like. There is no time limit on our exams, however all exams must be completed within one sitting. Once started, if an exam is abandoned for any reason you will need to begin that exam from the beginning when you next return.
Do take special note that every course has an expiration date, which is based on both the state approval and your website purchase date. In order to receive credit you must complete the course before that expiration date.

Annuity Training Requirement
- Before selling, soliciting, or negotiating annuity products in Oklahoma, producers must complete a one-time annuity training course approved for at least 4 hours.
Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance

Initial 8-hour LTC training requirement: Before selling, soliciting, or negotiating LTC insurance products in Oklahoma, producers must complete an initial 8-hour NAIC LTC course approved in any state
-
Ongoing 4-hour LTC training requirement: After completing the 8-hour initial training requirement, producers must complete 4 hours of LTC training every 24-month period.
Flood Insurance
- Producers who write flood insurance must complete a one-time 3-hour training class on flood insurance and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
Non-Resident Producers - basic CE is considered to be reciprocal with the producer's resident state. The producer must maintain an active license in their resident state to be eligible for a non-resident license in Oklahoma.
Non-Resident Adjusters are required to complete CE in at least (1) state where they have an active adjuster license. CE requirements should be completed in their resident state as long as that state requires CE. Otherwise, the adjuster may designate a non-resident state where they hold an active license and meet that state's CE requirement. If Oklahoma is their designated home state, then the adjuster is required to complete 24 hours of continuing education. The 24 hours should consist of 3 hours of ethics, 2 hours of legislative update and 19 hours of adjuster general.
Annuity Training Requirement
-
Before selling, soliciting, or negotiating annuity products in Oklahoma, producers must complete a one-time annuity training course approved for at least 4 hours. *Nonresidents who satisfy the training requirements of another state that are similar to Oklahoma's law will be deemed compliant for Oklahoma's requirement.

The license term is every 2 years ending on the last day of the licensee’s birth month.
- Agents licensed prior to July 1, 2011 will keep their current renewal date and when the license is renewed they will be issued a license that will expire on the last day of their birth month. The renewal period will not be less than 18 months and will not be more than 29 months. For example, if a licensee currently expires 10/31/2011 and their birth month is May, their next license term will end on 5/31/2013.
- Agents licensed on or after July 1, 2011 will be issued a 2 year license that will renew on the last day of their birth month. Courses may not be taken for credit more than once within 2-years from the original completion date.
A maximum of 6 hours may be carried over to the next 2-year license term. Excess hours may also be applied to bring a lapsed license into compliance. Hours that are carried over will be applied as general credit.
The following are exempt from CE requirements:
